Alpharetta homes that already have a pipe — and ones that do not

A lot of newer Alpharetta houses were built with a radon-ready stack in the garage or a closet. That pipe does not do much until a fan and the sealing are added. Older pockets of town, especially toward Crabapple, usually have no stack at all.

Slabs are common. So are finished basements in the larger subdivisions. If a fan is already there and it howls or sits silent, we can replace it. If there is no system, we design one after we walk the house.
